Frequently Asked Questions
Do you work directly with homeowners?
Yes. Homeowners can work with us directly from design through installation. You do not need to go through a dealer or third party.
Do you also work with builders and remodelers?
Yes. Builders and remodelers are an important part of our work. We aim to be the easy, dependable cabinet partner on your project.
Do you work with interior designers and architects?
Yes. Interior designers and architects regularly refer us to their clients. We understand how those relationships work and take our role in them seriously. If you are a designer or architect who wants to talk through how we might work together, reach out and we will be glad to connect.
Do you handle installation?
Yes. Our own team delivers and installs the cabinets we build.
Do you offer countertops?
Yes. We help you select and coordinate countertops alongside your cabinetry. Countertops are typically sourced through trusted outside suppliers.
What is the difference between inset and full overlay?
Inset doors sit flush inside the face frame. Full overlay doors cover almost the entire face frame, leaving about 1/4 inch exposed. Standard overlay doors leave about a 1 inch reveal. Inset usually costs more because each door has to be hand-fit to its opening. Our Overlay vs Inset page has the full explanation.
Do you offer custom options?
Custom cabinetry is what we do. Door styles, finishes, hardware, layout, and storage details are all chosen by you with help from our designers.
What does your process look like?
Six steps: share your project, get a quote, design your cabinetry, finalize details and start production, build/deliver/install, then enjoy the finished space. Payment happens in stages: a design deposit (credited to your project if you move forward), a deposit at signing, a deposit at delivery, and the final balance after install.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Weaver’s offers a 10-year limited warranty on the products we manufacture, to the original consumer purchaser, under normal residential use and proper climate-controlled conditions. Some exclusions apply. Download the full warranty PDF for complete terms.
Do you do demolition, painting, tile, or general contracting?
No. We focus on cabinetry and countertops from design through installation. We are glad to coordinate with your builder or contractor for the rest of the project.
Where do you work?
We serve homeowners, builders, remodelers, interior designers, and architects across the East Coast. Project availability can vary based on location, scope, installation requirements, and schedule, so contact us to discuss your project.
